Government's hardest problems are coordination problems, so we're building the infrastructure to solve them.

Today, Fast Company named Civic Roundtable one of its Next Big Things in Tech.
Civic Roundtable is a platform for government agencies and their partners to work together across organizational boundaries. We bring the people, knowledge, communications, and workflows behind complex public programs into one place so agencies, local governments, nonprofits, providers, and other partners can operate as one network rather than a collection of disconnected organizations.
We’re especially proud of this recognition because it reflects the impact our customers are driving every day. Over the past year, we’ve expanded to organizations in all 50 states. New Jersey’s statewide Bringing Veterans Home initiative uses Roundtable to connect organizations working to end veteran homelessness. Oregon uses it to coordinate a 26-county Continuum of Care, Arizona uses it to run its extreme heat response network, and Texas is using Roundtable to support coordination around emergency management and disaster recovery.
There’s a reason we’ve seen marked growth, and it’s because during our time working with public servants at every level of government, we’ve found one, incontrovertible truth: The hardest public problems, like ending veteran homelessness, responding to extreme heat, running elections, and recovering from disasters depend on federal agencies, states, local governments, nonprofits, and providers working together.
It is, fundamentally, a coordination challenge. But with nearly all govtech solutions deployed vertically (i.e., within one organization, not across organizations), most coordination is manual. It happens through email chains, spreadsheets, and whatever individual staffers happen to know.
So we built technology to bring government coordination into the modern era. Our platform connects organizations via a shared operating layer: workspaces, a common knowledge base, communications, contact management, and AI built for cross-organizational work. Our AI lets public servants query verified sources across their whole network and get cited, traceable answers, with customer data never used to train models. That matters in a sector where trust and accountability decide whether a tool gets used at all.
Today, we’re onboarding new government agencies and nonprofits all the time, and our current customers are expanding how and with whom they use Roundtable as their networks grow — precisely because our platform is the durable infrastructure on top of which work gets done, because we’ve built what our customers need.
This recognition belongs as much to our customers as it does to us. They’ve trusted us with some of their most important work, pushed us to build what government actually needs, and shown us what becomes possible when the people responsible for solving hard public problems have infrastructure designed to help them work together. We’re incredibly grateful and we’re only getting started.
