Government work doesn't happen in a vacuum. From public health and emergency management to veterans affairs and elections, the most important initiatives require coordination. Impact often hinges on the ability of agencies to bridge silos across departments, agencies, and partner organizations to work together.
At Civic Roundtable, we’re building the government operations platform that gives public servants one place to connect people, centralize knowledge, and get work done.
We were hard at work in 2025 expanding the platform’s capabilities to make interagency collaboration faster, smarter, and more resilient. We wanted to highlight our 10 favorite features we built last year.

Public servants waste hours hunting through folders, emails, and outdated shared drives for answers that should be at their fingertips. We built AI Answers to change that. Now teams can get verified answers instantly with AI-powered search across every document, discussion, meeting, and video relevant to their program.

Government teams work across sprawling ecosystems of agencies, providers, and partners, but contact lists are scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets, and always out of date. Roundtable’s CRM is purpose-built for government, allowing teams to bring every person, partner, and program into one connected view. With it, teams can coordinate outreach to the working groups, committees, and service providers that drive the mission.

Coordination work inevitably requires meetings, but when each organization brings its own Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams environment, it can be difficult to get everyone on the same page. Roundtable’s secure video meetings connect stakeholders across organizations. And with automatic transcripts and AI-generated summaries, every conversation builds searchable institutional knowledge and ensures critical context isn’t lost.

Getting the message out to large groups shouldn't mean copy-pasting contact info from spreadsheets or splitting messages into batches to avoid spam filters. We built email at scale so teams can communicate with their entire network reliably — whether sending a quick update or a message to thousands.

The job isn’t done with just sending communications. Program managers also need to know if the messages are actually landing. We added email analytics so teams can track opens, clicks, and responses in real-time and understand what's resonating across their network.

Gathering input from distributed networks used to mean scheduling another meeting or sending a survey that disappears into inboxes. We built polls so teams can quickly collect feedback and input across every partner and organization — without the overhead.

Government runs on documents, but finding the right one in a sea of PDFs shouldn’t feel like its own project. We added AI-powered summaries and automatic labels so teams can find resources faster, understand them more deeply, and keep knowledge organized without manual effort.

Leaders need visibility into what's working and where gaps are emerging, but that data can be buried or nonexistent. We shipped a new analytics dashboard so teams can get deeper insights into engagement and activity, making it easier to spot gaps and boost collaboration.

Public servants are already juggling too many tools. We added integration with Slack so teams can keep members informed on the latest activity by sending Roundtable posts and announcements directly to the Slack channels they're already using.

Critical information isn't just inside one organization — it's scattered across the websites of federal and state agencies, non-profit partners, and local governments. We built external website search so teams can find what they need faster by searching publicly-accessible websites right from Roundtable.
These features serve a common purpose: helping public servants spend less time on administrative overhead and more time on the mission. Whether it's reaching a partner, finding an answer, or sharing updates in real-time, Roundtable makes the work of government operations faster and more connected.
The public servants we work with show up every day to serve their communities, often with tools that weren't built for them. We're honored to be building something that is.
